Vallandry - Vallandry Sports
Well worth a mention for those ski enthusiasts who may be looking to go further afield for a week or so, is the resort of Vallandry in the Alps ( Savoie ) located right near Mt. Blanc not far from the Italian border. If you want some really great skiing ( both off piste and on! ) you won't be disappointed. The resort is a 2 hour drive from Lyon and a 6 hour drive from La Redorte. It is also within easy access of public transport and flights from the UK and elswhere. Do drop in on the team at 'Vallandry Sports' located right in the centre of the shopping area at the Vallandry resort. This family run ski shop offers friendly service and advice as well as excellent deals on ski hire, equipment and accessories. The staff all speak English and will really look after you.
