Layout of Gite

Light, spacious and tastefully renovated, Kookaburra Gite would ideally suit either a family of four, or two couples, although it is also suitable for two. The thoughtful layout of rooms allows for privacy especially if the adults want some time on their own!

 

All linen and bath towels are provided but we do ask that you bring your own swimming and beach towels. In case you are travelling in the cooler months Kookaburra Gite has central heating and there are extra woollen blankets in the bedrooms.

Kookaburra Gite Layout

As you enter through the front door the entrance hall is straight in front of you and the living room on the right ( with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs plus TV, DVD and radio ) and the kitchen-dining room on the left. The open plan kitchen/dining room is light and airy and fully equipped, ideal for entertaining especially as whoever is cooking can still talk to the guests over a wine whilst preparing the food.

The dining room seats six comfortably and all the crockery, cutlery and accessories are provided. Having the kitchen/dining room and the living room opposite each other across the hallway means that the kids can watch TV or read whilst the adults talk and enjoy themselves. Further down the hall on the right is a small laundry room with a washing machine, hand basin, ironing board and iron. There is room to hang out the clothes in the paved area of the garden.

At the end of the hallway are two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, one with a balcony. Each of the bathrooms has a shower, washbasin and WC. At the front of the house is a terrace with a wrought iron fence. There is parking at the front of the house. At the side of the house are a set of wooden steps which lead down to the garden with it’s paved terrace and bbq area. There is garden furniture in case you just want to soak up some sun or relax with a good book, and a bbq is provided.
